DeepSeek Unity trial separates fast token output from finished code quality
SmallMain used the official API to test DeepSeek V4.1 Flash 1017 on a Unity C# skin-system task with prefabs already prepared. They report 22 minutes to finish, compared with 13 minutes for the preceding Flash version, despite output near 265 tokens per second. Their review found missed requirements involving removed skins, saved filter state and refreshed attributes. They also report earlier attempts discovering an existing implementation through Git history or compiled files, complicating the comparison.
